O estúdio Double Fine e a produtora Electronic Arts (de "Fifa" e "Rock band") revelaram a trilha sonora do game "Brütal legend" (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), com lançamento previsto para outubro. São 75 bandas (e 108 músicas) que vão acompanhar o roadie Eddie Riggs na aventura pelo universo mitológico do heavy metal. 

A trilha sonora inclui bandas clássicas de diversos subgêneros do metal, como Black Sabbath, Motörhead e Judas Priest. Emperor, Manowar, Def Leppard e Slayer também integram a lista. "Brütal legend" conta com a participação do ator Jack Black e de Lemmy Kilmister, do Motörhead. o jogo era alvo de uma disputa judicial com a Activision (de "Guitar hero"), produtora original que acusava o estúdio Double Fine. Com o anúncio de um acordo na última semana, o lançamento oficial deve ocorrer em outubro, como previsto.
